Caroline is a Senior Associate Employment Law Solicitor at Redmans Solicitors.
Her academic journey started at St John’s College, Oxford, where she earned a Casberd Scholarship. Continuing her pursuit of legal knowledge, she attended the College of Law for CPE and LPC, complemented by an LLM in Labour Law from UCL. Caroline holds the SA8000 social auditor designation with Social Accountability International (SAI) and is an accredited workplace mediator with ADR. Notably, she co-founded MediationWorks.
Prior to joining Redmans in 2016, she trained with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and then moved to advise union representatives and their members at Rowley Ashworth Solicitors. After moving to New York in 2000, she worked in the international labour rights field for the UN specialised agency, the International Labour Organisation, and then the nongovernmental organisation, Social Accountability International (SAI), advising companies on the legal rights of their factory workforces.
As a Senior Associate, Caroline specialises in discrimination and unfair dismissal cases, providing expert advice on various employment law matters. Her responsibilities extend to negotiating exit packages and pre-litigation settlements.
Caroline’s key strengths lie in research, drafting, and negotiating, aligning with her commitment to making the law accessible and understandable for clients, ensuring they achieve the best possible outcome.
